Well, shit. When the Tower card shows up, everything has crumbled to pieces, not in a slow-and-easy-to-digest way either. It’s more like a sudden shift in reality and perspective. This is scary because it came up in the Love category this month. In the past, this card has shown me that I had a faulty foundation upon which my beliefs and values in a given subject were built. Although, Mercury showed up in this category as well. Mercury, the planet that rules over ideas, thoughts, and beliefs, will retrograde this month. This means the rule of “re’s” is in play. Reflect. Review. Reassess. My favorite astrologer Jessica Lanyadoo (link on the resource page), says that when Mercury goes retrograde, it is a time to “reconsider our attitudes, beliefs, and plans. It's a good time to return to things you've lost track of and spend time in contemplation and reflection.” So maybe the tower card is actually a warning. I need to take time this month to reflect on what I think and believe love means. Or else….
